A 64-bit version of Windows 7, or newer, is required. We recommend using the latest version of Windows 10 Anniversary update. We do not support 32-bit versions of Windows.
GeForce NOW requires at least 15Mbps for 720p at 60 FPS and 25Mbps for 1080p at 60 FPS. We also require less than 80ms latency from an NVIDIA data center. However, for the best experience, we recommend less than 40ms. Please read this knowledge base article on how to test your network.
GeForce NOW requires at least 45Mbps for streaming up to 3840x2160 at 120 FPS, at least 35Mbps for streaming up to 3440x1440/2560x1440/2560x1600 at 120 FPS and at least 35Mbps for up to 1920x1080 at 240fps. We also recommend a hardwired Ethernet connection, or a 5GHz wireless router. AV1 streaming requires a capable GPU. Please read this knowledge base article for more information.
Note: GeForce NOW Ultimate memberships are not available in all data centers. Please check the Service status website for more details.
Most built-in or USB keyboards work fine.
We recommend a USB gaming mouse for PC and Mac. Logitech and Razer offer many different options. If you are using a mouse and experiencing stutters, you can try lowering your mouse polling rate (125Hz) to eliminate stutters.
Most monitors work fine for all membership types. To unlock HDR benefits with the Ultimate membership tier, you must use a monitor that supports the HDR10 format.
Ultimate Members can enjoy up to 3840x2160, 3840x1600, 3440x1440, 2560x1440 and 2560x1600 resolutions. 120 FPS streaming will require a monitor that supports at least 120Hz, such as NVIDIA G-Sync Monitors. 240 FPS streaming will require a monitor that supports at least 240Hz. You must connect to the monitor using USB-C with DisplayPort/Thunderbolt, HDMI, DisplayPort, or Mini DisplayPort. Your system may require an additional adapter, or cable, to connect to the monitor. Any adapter used must support DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 1.4 for 1080p, or HDMI 2.0 for 1440p/4K. Please read this knowledge base article for more information.
Additional gamepads may work with GeForce NOW. Some require additional drivers and/or software updates to properly function.
Most GPUs released since 2015 can support up to 3840x2160/3840x1600 120 FPS and 1440/1600 120 FPS streaming. For more information on GPUs and specific resolutions, please read this knowledge base article for more information.
